The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning massive paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really proceeding.
